Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) how much power?!?

I'm buying a 96' 2500 auto on friday, its got a #10 plate and 3k GSK.

What kind of power should it be making? Just a close guess.

Stock filter and box, stock muffler (i think) dunno where the plate is, I assume factory position.

Do governor springs show any power gains, or are they more of a drivability mod?

You got it, just driveability & top speed.



With a bunch more fuel & resultant hp & torque, you're accelerating so much faster you're up against the shift points way faster. Really noticeable on the manual transmission.
