Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) how much power

well like the title says, how much power? i have a 95 175 pump 5spd mods are boost(36lbs) 3kgsk and a custom made 0 plate also timing was advanced im not sure to where since it was like that when i bought the truck but i would guess 16 judging by the way it runs and comparing it to others. anyways i can slip my clutch at about 20lbs boost so i know im making lots of power im just looking for a rough idea of how much exactly im thinking 350ish but want a better judgement. im buying a new clutch and dont want to get one thats too small but not over kill either. so let me hear your guestemnts.



as a note theres enough power to lite the tires for a good 2 seconds after shifting third and thats w/ 354's and 265 75 tires. also gets sideways on wet pavement in 4th.

I had about the same setup at one time and dynoed 351hp and 887 tq

I dynoed 324hp in 3rd with an unlocked tc. A locked one would have put me in the 350hp range I think. Mods are in my sig.

well I would get the biggest clutch you can afford cause we all know you will end up modding it more and then have to change it againe. etc. . i don't think you need a double disk unless you plan to get 450-500 hp. .

well the end result is gonna be close to 1000 ponies but thats another build up that i will swap in complete later right now i just need a clutch to hold what i got since this is probably close to all ill have w/ this block.
