My truck was to the point where I couldn't put my finger between the spring and the rubber bump stop, so I took my springs to the local spring shop and had them re-arch them and also added a leaf. Now I have about an inch and a half of clearance, but it still doesn't look like it should be enough. I was wondering how much space you guys have who put on the skyjacker 2. 5" front springs...

Thanks Deo,

The only other thing "custom" other than the skyjacker springs, is you need to beef up the mounting plate that the steering box bolts to. (get rid of it) That reinforcement plate that Dodge calls it is not worth its weight in steel. The best thing to rid your self of steering problems is to mount the steering box where Dodge mounts it for the 2WD models, ie, a crossover steering convertion.

Dodge crossover steering Now I havent done that but wish I had.
