I just received a photo that you folks have to see - it's a wrecked boat and truck hanging over a cliff with teh driver still un the pickup hanging vertically... . how can I attch this photo?

hammersley, you need web space on the internet, most server providers have personal folders for you to upload to. Upload your pic, then put the following line in your post, filling in the required information, without *s.

[img*]http://yourwebservice.com/yourusernameusually/image.jpg[/img*]

You will have to read your web providers help stuff to be sure of the right context that is required.

There are other ways to do it, but I'll leave that up to someone else to help you out with.

Yeah Mark -

Post your picture in readers rigs, then bring up the picture on the page by clicking on it in the readers rigs section.

Right click on the picture and select [Properties]. You will see a line that starts with http:// in the middle of the box.

Highlight the whole line of text, including all the wierd symbols, right click and choose [copy].

Now go back to the forums and make your post. For the picture, do the following, leaving out the *s, by pasting the line that you copied. (you paste the copied text by right clicking after and choosing [paste] )

This looks about as clear as mud. Hopefully you get the hang of it.

I'm not sure if admin will be happy with us using the members rig section this way. They are having a lot of trouble keeping the site moving smoothly and this option might bog things down. They will let us know if it isn't acceptable.

Add [img*] to the front of the line, instead of [url*] and [/img*] to the end of it, instead of [/url*]. Leave the *s out of it though. I used the *s so the system doesn't think it's supposed to show a picture.

Hmmm - it works from my ISP. I wonder if admin has the option to post that way from the server.

I just looked at how you did it and it looks right.

OK wise guy. Tim used html, rather than the forum's VB Code, to post those pictures. I'll let him teach you guys how to do it :)

Hee Hee Got 'cha DOC!!

O. K boys Here ... . Goes

<*I*M*G* S*R*C*=*"*"*>*<*B*R*>

First off delete EACH * and there should be no spaces between anything BUT the word img and src.

Now with that done simply insert the address of the picture between the "" marks.

^Note you must have an INTERNET type address only ... ... you can't pull pics off your hard drive! host them at a place like I have at VillagePhoto.com

Well guys, I can't seem to get it. When I was with PhotoPoint, I had no problem. Now that I with MSN, I can't seem to get the job done.

Would someone go to my pictures (link below) and post one of my picture, then show me how to do it?

Thanks guys!
