Anyone have a clue on how to align the headlights? I drove my wife's old car (a stick) for two weeks just because it got better mileage for what I needed it for. The other day I went to the local store, came to a stop and got out. About the time I pulled the foot off the brake it hit me that it was still in D. So, it smacked the building and pushed the driver side bumper in. Brother-in-law and I dropped the bumper, beat and banged the brackets, then re-hung it. I must say, if the plastic molding on the bumper wasn't all screwed up, you wouldn't even notice that it ran into a building.
Anyhow, the drive side light aims down from the passenger side. I pulled the bumper off again today and looked at both the light and surrounding metal / plastic to make sure nothing was bent / broken. All appears ok. It looks like the bottom adjustment screw may have been pushed in. I was able to use a torqx srew driver to work the adjustment screw in and out so I think the threads are ok. Just need to know how to align the light. Any ideas?
Thanks.
