I have oversized tires and installed a superlift Tru-Speed which works great! This is between the diff sensor and the truck computer, so the truck should see the correct speed / miles. Unfortunately, my overhead trip computer still displays gas mileage higher than I am getting. I'ts not the tires, as they would have the opposite effect. I was wondering if the computer thinks my fuel tank is smaller than it actually is. Can you calibrate that portion of the trip coumpter? Couuldn't find anything in the manual except calibrading for compass and declination. Any other suggestions?

Any tuning boxes will cause this computation error. I'm guessing it is because the computer calculates based on the fuel request and not the actual output to the injectors. There are no flow meters. Not much can be done about it. Mine was always within 2% until I installed the Smarty software. Now it varies up to 7% error.

heck, with my mods i showed 21. 7 mpg on our last 1130 mile trip towing. hand calc came out to 11. 8 mpg. just a LITTLE off! as long as the odo is right, i'm happy
