When I do a WOT run, the truck seems to fall on it's face at about 3000 RPM, and won't shift until about 3200 - 3300. Is there any way to make it shift at about 2900 RPM at full throttle?
ATS makes a shift kit that replaces the hydraulic selenoids in the valve body with electronic ones, you can custom tune the shift parameters to any where on the rpm spectrum you wish.
LOL, I don't "want" a stock transmission, but can't afford any upgrades yet. This is the first new truck I've owned, and on all my trucks I've had in the past, there was this handy little linkage you could adjust if your transmission didn't shift right. I was just asking if there is something that can be done like this in a great and wonderful new truck, like computer related or something other. I don't know, that's why I'm asking.
