In my continuing search to find where my EGT increase is coming from I have decided that I want or need to check and make sure I don't have an injecter going "OUT" if that is even possible.

So is there a way to check these, do you just remove them and look for cracks or is there a better way?

I think oil analysis would be one way to check. As far as checking for a leak on the fly, I don't know how you would do that.

Call a diesel shop. It's a special test pump for injectors. Sort of a hand pump that sprays fuel thru an injector. You listen for proper operation, check presure required to open, and check for leaks after. (pretty sure anyway ):D
