how to control driving light relay with DRL

I'm looking for help using my high beam headlights to control the relay for driving lights.

my problem is that my truck has daytime running lights. and as a result when the lights are "off" (during daytime) the lights are half on , so I can't connect the relay, as it will chatter.

I'm wonder if there is another place to get 12v that's hot on high beam only.

When your day time running lights were turned on... they set the high beams to come on at the 40% level..... and you can't run your driving lights.....

Have your dealer go into the setup program in the ECM and reset it to turn on your low beams, for the DRL.....

My wife works in the office at the local dealer, so I usually get anything I need. Helps when she makes the pay checks !!!!

I went to the dealer and had the guys check my software for updates, so that got done. I had also asked them if there was any way to shut off the "closed throttle downshift" feature on the 68RFE when in "TOW/Haul" mode... no ! so I've got to live with it, or shut off tow / haul ... . often



They where unable to find a place where they could select any options for the DRL.



jelag, could you offer any guidance here ??



I'm wondering if they'd have to select "USA" for the country code?

and if it was there, and they used "USA" , would my milage then read in miles instaed of kilometers ( I'd bet it will)

I have Geno's bright box on one of my trucks and we burnt out one of them with the DRL on high beam... . I have a nice salesmen at the dealer who didn't have a clue you could turn on the DRL until I told him about it..... their tech searched and found out how to do it... on my 04 and wifes 03 car they had to set it up under CANADA... . that's all I know. .
