The electronic adlustments via computer- is that for the 24 valvers only, or does that apply to my 12 valve as well? I thought I had to change out gears in the speedo but after reading this I'm not sure anymore.
Thanks.

Doug - Thanks! That's good to know. I thought it was only the 98. 5/24 valves that used the speed sensor off the rear end.

thanks Bruce & Doug

You know it just dawned on me what Jim was asking in this post. 285/85R16 upgrade. Although the 2000 manual doesn't show it, it's bound to be in the 2001 book (section 22 on tires and wheels). This is the size my truck came with! It should be a no brainer for the dealer to change that. Any larger and you venture into no no land with DC.

Thanks, Bruce! I have the new truck now and have the taller tires on it. Sadly, I have had it almost a week and have driven it less than 100 miles, but I like it!! I have the Diablo puck installed and that is the only thing I have added other than the tires. This weekend I will try to get time to take it to a marked mileage stretch of highway and see how the odometer reading compares to the markers.
Thanks to all who replied to this post, I didn't think it would generate much interest when I posted it.
