I do a fair amount of driving where it’s not needed so being able to disable the ding is nice. My 18 also flashes it on the dash every time you hit 5mph, too bad that doesn’t disable too.
 
I bought 2 seat belt clips for like ten bucks on Amazon. One in my truck and one in my wife’s car. Can easily be moved and removed to use seat belt or in a rental car etcMy wife says it’s breaking the law.
 
Well sure enough I get a message once rolling.

I've never gotten the warning... cept'n dinger and red light when DW doesn't fasten her seatbelt on pax side after getting back in checking the mail. She get feisty about it :eek:if I mention ito_O... try to hum or sing something that goes along with the chime :rolleyes::p:D:cool:.

And you were just talking about train horns being illegal. Here are not wearing your seatbelt and wanting to deactivate the warning. Smh! I knew you had to be breaking laws yourself. Lol
