Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I went to fold in my driver's side mirror to make a litte more walking space in the garage, and pow! ... everything shoots out the bottom. I found a coil spring, a broken plastic ring, a metal clip, and the cover piece. Am I missing anything? These things really came out with some velocity.
I am not quite sure how it goes back together. It looks like the spring needs to be compressed and the clip pressed into place. I guess I at least need a new clip since this one let go. I'm not sure what to do with the plastic ring. I can't tell how it all goes together by looking at the other side.
Can I fix it or do I need to buy a new one?
