How to get an avatar

I guess its been asked before but I can't seem to get a picture of my rig in the avatar slot. What am I doing wrong???????

OK one more time for us technilogically challenged folks, how do I get a picture to post as an avatar and to add in a regular post? Any help would be appreciated. I honestly have tried.

I just want to now how. You are talking about the pic of what you choose under your name on a thread RIGHT. If so tell me how to attempt this. CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?????Oo.

First thing, you have to have picture no larger than 50X50 pixels.



Then click on the "User CP" button on the top right of the screen.



When the next screen comes up, click on the "User Options" link on the top near the middle of the screen.



At the bottom of that screen, click on the "Change Avatar" button.



On the bottom of the next page, there is a place to either enter a URL for an avatar somewhere on the web, or you can upload your own using the "Browse" button. Clicking that button with let ou choose an avatar that you have stored on our computer.



Then just click "Submit Modifications" and your done.

You can also "steal" someone else's avtar by right clicking the image and downloading it to your PC.
