I've got a dead animal in a wall in my house. It has been there for about a month and a half. I'm about ready to torch my house and start over. It stinks in here. Anybody have any suggestions on how to get rid of the smell?

Did you take it out already?

I had a snake curl up in a wall & kick the bucket. Whew. Got out the sabre saw & cut the wall board off.

I haven't gotten it out yet. I'm not exactley sure where it's at, but I have a pretty good idea. Not real keen on ripping out a bunch of sheet rock.

Seems like there's an Edgar Allen Poe story about a body in the wall. I don't think it said anything about how to kill the smell though.

Maybe I have bodies in my walls too, and here I've been scrubbing out the cat boxes, trying to get rid of the smell.

We had a dead animal in the woods a few hundred feet from here. Whenever the wind came out of the west..... whewwwiiiieee.

I cant even imagine that INSIDE my house. Set it on fire.

Seriously though, I'd be tearing walls apart by now.

Eat lots of Pickled Eggs that will produce something that will cover the dead smell.

You need to find the dead thing and remove it or just live with the smell until all that is left is the bones.
