i'm just curious what mods i would need to break the magic 800+hp

mark? would it be fast?! Oo. probably would be very expensive right? wouldn't want to do this to a 2wd daily driver any, just (very) curious. :D

Stock bottom end is fine unless you want to tear it down, if so then there are better pistons, a Cam is nice to have, Ported head and at least and O-Ring in it, Studs, Race Pump, Honed or EDM injectors, Big set of Twins, Intercooler, Water/Methanol Injection for the last 50 hp and lots of finess..... 700 is actually not that hard, 800 is a chore and there are only a few at that level with real numbers... ..... not some over corrected ones and very few that actually drive the truck allot. This does not require a huge amount of cruise smoke or real high boost... ..... cost say 15-20K plus labor.

Hey, Jim

Don't forget poor old Sickly, since retired

He got there with one turbo, no "additives" and a stock . 020 thicker head gasket (no o-rings).

Stock intercooler, street pump, and the original stock short block.

Keep working on yours and bring him to May Madness :)

Joe, I love you like a brother... ..... :D

I'm trying here..... what did you tell me at M/M... ... don't stop now!

Man' money and time are an issue as you well know and I don't have allot of either, still looking for that... ... what was it... ... rabbies..... that's it, I've done passes at 140 MPH(on the road) and it's almost there.

Sickly wasn't big enough to fit on two dynoes at the same time

Quotes from Lawrence:

when the hp was down because of a problem, he sadly said: "the violence is gone"

on how to tell if the engine made real hp: "it's gotta have rabies at the top end"

Maybe I should have run on three dynoes and averaged the highest number :)

Is there a Dynojet on the summit of K2? :D
