How To: How do fold down the back seat?

Is there anyway to fold down the back of the seat on the rear seats? I would like to access this area behind the back seat.

Yes. You will first have to loosen the seat bottoms and lift them up as you raise the bottoms half way up. there is a hook that keeps the seat backs in place and if you raise the whole seat it will unlatch. after they are out you can trim the hooks and the seat back will fold forward if the seat bottom is half war up.

I went thru this yesterday and I am still pulling stuff off the new truck to install the overhead cab lights. There is one 18 mm bolt that gave me a problem because of interference. I cannot get a socket directly on it and an 18mm end wrench would be necessary. It's in the middle rear area and retains the middle upper restraint. I left it and leaned the seat forward since I am just trying to get the headliner down in the back. I might add, the design of the seat is terrible for trying to clean the inside of the rear window. The headrests are so close I cannot get my hand behind them. Once again, who thinks of this stuff?
