How to install UTE/DOR bumpers?

What tools will I need install my UTE bumper? Anybody done it themselves before?

Two friends and a case of beer!



A basic set of sockets and some wrenches will be handy as well. DOR uses all 1/2" bolts with 3/4" hex caps and nuts. Seems like you'll find several sizes removing the stock unit. Maybe a drill to relocate the horn, but you can probably find an existing hole in the neighborhood.

Clinton is correct, I just installed my shiny new DOR bumper this last weekend, did everything all by myself too All the DOR bolts are, as Clinton said, 1/2" grade 6's, you'll need 3/4" socket/wrench for them. The OEM bumper is metric junk, 18mm for the nuts and 15mm for the bolt head as I recall... .
