I would love to be able to lay down some black smoke! I have a blue box and am adding dd2 injectors and I was wondering if this combo would be good for a cloud or two? I would like to be able to keep the smoke under control most of the time but every now and then... ... ... I also have a banks 14cm(I think) turbo housing.

Now if I only had an tailpipe on the left side too. .

thanks, Kevin

Fuel - Air = Smoke

Simple formula. Add as much fuel as possible prior to turbo spool up and you'll make nice clouds. DD2's aren't the best for smoke but are a good all around injector.

Like Garrett stated, it's all in the boost, or lack thereof. My daily driver is the Edge EZ box set on the most aggresive setting and Bully Dog step 5 injectors. If I nail it with low boost, look out, the day has turned into night  . If I drive while keeping the RPMs up and picking the correct gear for the roads grade, they don't smoke much at all. Colder winter air helps, when it's 90 F with 100% humidity, all bets are off as the smoke is much harder to control.

That's okay with me as the summer is when all those rice rockets with their windows down seem to want to tailgate me the most. Last summer, on probably the hotest day of the year, I had some moron in a open top Jeep decide to ride my bumper up a 17% grade. I'm pretty sure I took atleast several years off his life as the first burst from the stack of doom wasn't enough, he came back for a second 'bout that was thick enough to cut with a knife. I slowed down to about 30 MPH, while still on the 17% grade and shifted to 5th. Put the go pedal down and the rest was history. The smoke was almost liquid.

Liquid thick smoke! I like that!!! It is times like this that i wish i had the 5 speed. I guess it will be a bit tougher to blow smoke with the auto as it will alow the rpm's and boost to build fairly quickly. I guess i can still try, cant I? maby with the TC locked up at 1100 rpm. Thanks for the info.

Krussell - you mentioned a tail pipe on the left side too. I don't know much about this but check this out:

seems like a 'gotta have' item to me!:)
