How to make wall paper....?

Hey how do yall make wall paper? I have this picture that I would like to put as my background but don't know how to resize it. I have windows 95 so it has no strech feature, just center,and pattern. Could someone name some software. I need a pic in 800x640 I think. Is there sogtware that can do this?



The pic is the first one on Jack Ingram's Web Site with him infront of the US flag. He is my favorite singer, and I'm tired of the prono one so thought I'd give this a try.

Aint no puter wiz, but here goes.

Right click it and save it to your photos. Once it's there, I think you right click it and "set as desktop background".

Thats how it works with XP anyway.

Stretch to fit

Look and see if you have Win 95 Plus. If so you can stretch and image to fit the screen but sometimes depending on the image you have it may be distorted.

I don't have 95 Plus, don't like to change platforms when I got one that works.



As far as XP goes, cann't do it like that because it will not do an auto fit for the whole screen. That's how to make it a background, just looks kinda dumb in the center of the screen.

I'm not sure about 95 haven't used it in years but I think you might be able to use either imaging or paintbrush to expand the picture.
