How to remove the trackbar?

I tried to remove the stock trackbar to do the lukes link repair but try as i might, I couldn't get the ball joint stud out. I trid to make the angle less pronounced by jacking up the right wheel and the bolt on the pass side is out and no go. I have a picle fork but i believ it is not wide enough. so after an our of pounding, i put it back together.

Does it need a bigger speciall fork to remove?

Hit the bracket that surrounds the stud very hard several times,the vibration should make it fall out.

Also put a hammer on the opposite side you are hitting on, to back it up. It should pop right out.

Use a pickle fork!

I beat and beat on my track bar ball joint for over two hours and it wouldn't give, so I went to Advanced Auto and bought a Pickle Fork for tie rod ends and about 10 minutes after I got home the ball joint was out.
