The passenger mirror glass has cracked on my 98 w/ power and heated mirrors.

Does Dodge sell repacement glass or can they even be repaired? Will I need to get the whole mirror? Does anyone else sell repair/replacement parts?

My local dealer isn't much help.

Thanks for the replies.

Thomas: I have printed off the TSB and will use it at the parts counter. Thanks

TGroves: That's not a bad price at all. Thanks

I replaced mine through a glass shop for $40. 00... ... It's not heated, but it doesn't get cold enough here in South Texas anyway.

I gave away my factory 6x9 power heated door mirrors when I bought the tow mirrors for my truck. I have seen sets sell for only 10 dollars on Ebay and they only take a minute or so to swap out.

Any glass shop that does auto glass can replace it and it is not that expensive. DO not buy from the dealer as they sell only the entire unit that costs over $300. 00.

 Not true, you can get the glass only from the dealer, we do it all the time at the bodyshop.

Now, Why would I Lie about this??? I'm trying to help someone out with something I ran into. My local auto parts, (small town) was able to get me a left side, (they are different). It came with double sided tape, and has been stuck to the backing plate for Five years.

It was no more than $11. 00 with tax.

I think you didn't read my post correctly, did you see where I quoted ANOTHER poster? That means I was responding to him.
