OK, so we bought the 2015 Laramie(that we have not seen or driven yet, would a ex football player that I baby sat do me wrong?) and went for a short box for daily driver ease. I am currently thinking Hijacker picture frame with a B&W RVK3270 18K manual slider. That might change to a RVK3600 set in the rear position once Ron and I scope things out and install the four pucks. I know someone with a 3600 that might just set it in my truck to measure things. So want are the rest of you short box owners doing for tool boxes/bed covers etc. Pictures would be great. Snoking

Yup were gonna try that RVK3600 out for sure! I know the tool box in your 2nd get is a top quality box, a friend has one. My suggestion is to see what HighwayProducts has to offer. They are NOT cheap for sure but they are TOP quality. Mine is 30" front to back. They do make one shorter.

If your willing to spend the coin, contact Pro-Tech in your state. They will build anything you want to fit your application. I had them make my last in bed, chest style box in 2008 and it will outlast my life. If my memory is correct, I paid $1100

I will most likely spend the money to cut down the Truck Trunk to fit. It is a great box with sliding lid, made for 5th wheelers. Ron has a friend that has shop and works at a large fab shop. So we should be able to make that one fit. The B&W release lever swings out in front of the hitch to release and that might be and issue. With the RVK3270 slide back, then there would be room for the release level. The Hijacker's lever comes out the side of the hitch, however it only slides 8"! Was hoping to fit the V-box in behind the hitch also for our golf clubs. Highjacker is a North American product also. Also would like to still be able to carry our two bikes on the pin box rack. Might just mod the current Hijacker to fit the new standard rails and get a Sidewinder pin box. That would move the bikes to a roof rack on the truck. May just order the Highjacker picture frame first so that we have something to measure from if after trying Ron's RVk3600. Snoking
