My question is exactly that, How do you stack the edge juice and ez? I am fairly new and not exactly sure how to do it?

Thanks, Corey

put the EZ straight into the MAP sensor... . then the juice behind it. The MAP sensor is the only common connection.

this stacked turned a 13. 96 quarter mile on my truck with a transmission, pusher pump, and afe stage 2.

Ok, I stacked the two boxes and now I have a worthless truck. It started misfiring, shaking badly, and making a ticking/knocking sounds. I shut it off and restarted and had the same problem but now my lights don't work unless the iginition is turned on. I also have a water in fuel light on now to. I unpluged everything and still have all the problems. Any thoughts.

Triple check all of your connections, make sure the fuse connection with the juice is good and the fuse isn't blown, get or borrow an obd II and clear the codes and try it again. Jay

I unplugged everything and took the juice and ez off and returned it to stock and I still have the problems. Is it possible that I messed up the computer or map sensor?

Your truck should recover if the rail pressure sensor and MAp sensor are plugged back in properly. I had a similar problem with mine. Turned out the rail pressure sensor connector on the EZ harness wasn't making good contact with the pins in the connector body. Check your rail pressure connector on the stock connector and make sure no pins are bent or ruined. If everything looks good and the connector is plugged in the right way around try to start it again. A trick you can do is to drain the filter housing and then let the pump fill it back up again, then start it. Let us know how it goes. If it starts, then just install the Juice and then try it again. If it runs then you could try the EZ again but make sure the connector is the right way around and FULLY seated.

Late last night my roomate and I put the juice back (it ran no better with it off) on and took my rail pressure gauge off and th engine started. It runs almost the same as it did before but there may be a slight vibration that wasn't there before. However, now I have several codes 0192, 0193, 0477, 0340. 0341, 2269, 0652, 0237, 0069. I have no headlights, dome light, and power locks unless the ignition is on. I have no glue how this could have anything to do with the juice and ez but it happened the same time I had all the engine problems. I took my truck to the dealer so hopefully I will find out what happened.

Juice and EZ stack ???

PBax - I was under the impression the Juice plugs to the MAP first then the EZ plugs in on top. I thought the Juice would read the absolute and then the EZ would add the desired pressure on top. Wouldn't the EZ plugged in first give the Juice bad data?

Could it be that the rail relief on BarlowCummins engine be bad? Hope someone else will chime in here.

The EZ does boost fooling so you would want that plugged in first so the Attitude display shows the fooled boost numbers. Other than that, it's just voltage.

EZ changes the fuel curve slightly by boost fooling... . so to get fuel effect of the EZ, put the EZ straight to the MAP and then the juice behind it. The Juice will modify timing, duration, and some boost numbers but then the EZ modifies the fuel pressure and will make power come on sooner by tricking the juice to thinking theres more boost than there actually as.

Also, the Juice is so involved with its readings you wouldn't want anything modifying signal between the juice and the ECM. this, in theory, is why the Smarty doesn't work well with the Juice. The juice only knows how to modify factory ECM readings... . it doesn't modify the catcher ECM very well at all.

hope that helps... .

and keep us updated on the status of the truck with issues... .

I think that I my rail pressure gauge may have messed up. As soon as we took it off my truck ran good and then we put it back on and it ran or barely ran  Originally we I hooked up the ez I hooked it up to the rail pressure sensor and then hooked the rail pressure gauge to the ez and the oem pug into the rail pressure gauge. All my other problems (lights, radio, and dome) were caused by one of my OBD relays pulled half way out according to the dealer. I must have yanked it a little or something when I pulled my fuse box cover off. Truck runs great now and I am going to check later tonight if the rail pressure gauge will do it again before I put the ez on again.

Corey

rail pressure gauge needs to go into the fuel pressure sensor FIRST. if the EZ goes straight to the sensor, the rail gauge will be reading the fooled parameter... . which is useless... . unless you are seeing how the EZ fools the truck to make power.

EZ and Juice plug in sequence

PBax - Thanks for the reply and explanation. Over the course of the last six months I removed and installed the two boxes so many times the wires in my brain must be crossed. I'll go out and make sure the sequence is as you stated. Thanks again.
