Has anyone used both auxillary oil ports?

An interesting observation with the new belt installed yesterday - it does NOT have the Cummins "chirp" at shutdown. Silent. The old one that shredded had it - very loud too.

Don't know if this means anything, but just an observation. The new one is a Mopar brand belt.

Mine hasn't chirped since the belt was replaced either.

So could the chirping sound be indicitive of enought "slippage" at shutdown that could eventually cause a belt to walk and shred?

Mine chirps, whistles, shakes, and I love it, it dosent hurt anything if you dont like it buy a minivan it would be nice and quite for your friends

That's helpful. I was merely making a comment and observation, and asking for an opinion. Sorry I'm not as knowledgeable as you, Partsman.

Stuff it.

from what I have read and heard it is when the fan is engaged or right after it has disengaged with the ac is on... I let mine idle for a few and it does not do it as much or when it does it is not as loud as when I shut it off right away... also the gator belt is the trick for those who dont want to sit and idle for a sec my two cents!
