Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) How to tap wire?

Is there another way to hookup the pump wire without cutting into it. DW

Blue chip has a pump cover that taps it. Here's some info. . http://www.bluechipdiesel.com/pumpcoverinstallation.html and this http://www.bluechipdiesel.com/specials.html I believe it does it with a screw somehow.

Does anyone know if you can use either cover if you already pierced the pump wire?

I never knew BD had a cover too. . huh. Guess I learned something new today. I'm going to solder mine on before I put the head back on, I think that'd be even better than a cover. Also I don't see why either one wouldn't work even if you've tapped the wire, just be sure to seal it good where it was tapped... it'd stink to have that wire corrode.
