NV4500 lube question

Do you run only pump diesel?

On the back of the injection pump(governor housing actually) there will be a penut shaped cover, held on with two allen screws. Remove the cover, and you will find two more allen screws with lock nuts. You can loosen the locknut with a deep socket, its best to hold the allen screw while loosening the nut. Back both the screws out evenly. I suggest 1/2 turn each, put the cover back on and test.

The air fuel ratio can be adjusted to help response, by turning it in. I'm having a hard time visualizing the afr right now. I'd go one turn in.

Do you have a pryo on it now? Cats spec as far as I know is 1250*, and they want the pyro probe to be 6" after the outlet of the turbo:eek: Thats what the old 3406s were spec'd at and the 3306s too.
