I've been adding aux circuits for: aux tank transfer pump, exhaust brake, inverter & now my Air-Lift suspension compressor, directly to an extension bolt on drivers side battery. Sure would like to utilize the OEM labeled "spare" fuses & relays. Thanks for any suggestions.

I did the same thing. I bought the 6 circuit box and mounted it on the drivers side access panel. . Has push on blades for the wires and you can put whatever fuse you need in it

I'd also suggest the Genos box. If I remember correctly, the recommended process for using the OEM box is to disconnect both batteries and pull the box every time you want to add a circuit. Every time you pull the box you risk pulling out wires for the existing circuits.

I agree with those who posted above. A Painless Wiring Fuse Block from Geno's is the best solution. I learned about them from a fellow TDR member and have installed one in each of the three Rams I've owned.

I use the painless wiring box from Geno's as well. My only gripe with it, is that it doesn't use the same size fuses as the truck's box; and so I have to carry two different sizes of fuses instead of just one. #@$%!

Other than that detail I love it! ;)

I used all the extra fuse locations on my 94,if done correctly there is no problem doing that. Be sure you don't overload the buss bar that feeds each group. Never took the time to do it on the 05 just too busy these days
