How too make aluminum shine?

I have a Delta tool box for my truck. It sat outside for a few years now. I just put it back on the truck now. What do I need to use to polish it too make it shine good again?

I would try "Mothers" mag and aluminum polish or "Nevr-Dull" i have had good luck with both.

It is the best chrome/aluminum polish I've ever used. To polish the toolbox I'd use a buffer, it will make you life much easier.

I don't know what they use, but the guys that detail the big trucks at truck stops have a spray on solution that brings the shine back to poiished aluminum. I was talking to a couple a truckers about their fuel tanks looking so good and they said the trick is to spray this solution on and then almost immediately rinse it off. They used this same stuff on the tank trailers I pulled and it made the aluminum look like stainless steel. Next time I'm going by a stop that advertises, I'll see if I can find out what it is.

While there are numerous aluminum polishes out there and we all probably have our favorite,mine is a product called DURAGLOSS ,,Its a treated material and will do quite a job polishing it and will with little work make it mirror shiny,,I have used it for years on my race cars and my Weld's on my trucks and it seems to hold up nicely to the adverse elements that mother nature can dish out,,On my fuel tanks on my tractor cab at work it even hold up nicely in the acid wash bay we use to wash our complete units,,If you can not find it let me know and I'll get a can for you.....
