I read all these posts about changing fuel filters, swapping turbos, changing relief valves, installing rail pressure gauges, banjo bolts, etc... . Is there a decent manual that shows all the ins and outs to the Dodge Rams with the CTD's? Some of these items, I don't even know where they're located on the truck. Difference between the fuel pump and lift pump (if they aren't the same thing).



And what's the weakest link when modifying? I've got the Banks 6-gun, what's the first thing that's likely to fail and cause me troubles (besides my clutch)? Can you swap in a new turbo without making any other changes to the systems?



I've done some installs, mainly electrical. I installed my Banks kit, but I wouldn't have done without my friends being there.

The Haynes manuals are a decent source for knowledge... . they can be bought at your local parts store. Genos garage has manuals for you as well. Anything that you want to know is available on this site under search forums.

Go to http://www.hemitruckclub.com/ and download the dodge factory service manual. It has all engine info in the manuals gas and diesel. The manuals are on the Left hand side of the screen 03-06.

I would lose the 6-gun and get a TST or a Smarty and yes on the turbo, it was one of the best mods I did to my truck (Really made it nicer to drive)

Right now I'm pretty happy with my Banks system. Mileage is good, and power is all I need. My main concern is trying to bulletproof for other things that might fail. Think a new SBC OFE is next on my needs list anyway. She slips from 4th gear on when its on Level 5,6 or SpeedLoader.

Ok. Somebody give me the main differences between my Banks with the PDA and the Smarty? I haven't dyno'd the truck so I don't know what the real power is at the RWs. My truck is out of warranty from DC anyway because of mileage.
