Anyone out there with one of these on a Jeep?

I am having rough running conditions-maybe too rich-not sure on this. This symptom is sparadic which is making this difficult to track down. I have gone through troubleshooting guide, not throwing any codes and am a loss right now what else to be looking at. I spoke with Howell directly about my fuel pressure at 14 lbs and this may be slightly high. Before I take the TBI pod off and start messing with pressures I just want to know if anyone else has had similar problems and what to look for.
 
Is the Howell TBI connected to a computer? On factory Jeep fuel injection vehicles I've found bad sensors by unplugging the bad sensor. Some computer's will see the "no sensor" as "bad sensor". This forces the computer into "Open Loop". When in open loop the computer is using a predetermined map to run the engine.

It is connected to the computer that came with the kit from Howell. I already replaced the Engine Temp Sensor because it was slightly out of range. The O2 sensor was repced a couple years ago, the MAP is original.

I am goin to put a fuel regulator on today and dial back the pressure to 9lbs to see if that helps.
 
Installed the reulator this weekend and dialed it in to 11. 5 lbs and this seems to have helped. I have test driven it a couple times and may need to make some adjustment on it. We will see how it behaves the next week...
 
Back to the same old crap. Backfiring, hesitation, ect... anyone with a Howell TBI have the same experiences?
