i got some howes anti gel and looked at the direction and all it said it treats 125 gallons in the winter does not break it down any more then that. my question is how much do you guys add per tank?

I add about 8 ounces at each tank full.

When I first bought the Howes I did the calculation and got about 8 ounces per tank full.

How many ounces are in the bottle of Howes that you have?

I would recalculate it but the Howes bottle is outside in the truck.

Sounds about right to me. I ran out of Stanadyne recently and started using the Howes as convience. I add 4 oz. per 1/2 tank fuel. Haven't had a gelling issue yet and it's been down below zero on several mornings.

i think it is a quart. it says triple does the first 3 tankfulls and diesel cars and trucks to double does every tank and i did not know if 125 gallons per bottle was the standard or double. ( it says treats 125 gal winter or 3?? gal summer)

I'm using the Power Service stuff, because I can get it at Wal-Mart and it's cheaper than Howe's, which I've only seen at truckstops. I use a third of the contents of the bottle per tankful. I've used Howe's in the past though and other than the truckstop prices, it seemed to work well. My primary reason for using any of this stuff is to clean the injectors. I've never noticed a difference in fuel mileage using fuel additives.
