2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission howling..

im experiencing a weird howling sound when im cruising under 2000 but above 1500..... i cant seem to locate the sound but if i stick my head out the window it seems to come from under or behind the cab but im not certain. im thinking (by the way it acts) its either the turbo, clutch fan, or the driveshaft uni's. has anyone got some advice for me?

chock the ft wheels and jack stands under r axial have 2nd person in drivers seat taking directions , you under truck , most do it yourself parts stores will have a stethiscope with a metal rod for looking for sounds by touching the rod to non moveing parts like axial housing to check for bearings ect...
