my brother informed me today i was just waiting for a 0216 having the pump tapped-i have run stanadyne since my vp44 was replaced at 70k... . i have been tapped for 5k--i am not worried ,just want to tell me bro pumps can last tapped :-{} he is just scared

157,000 on the original VP so far. Pump wire taped at 42,000. I run a 32 oz bottle of Power service once a month. No problems so far. ;)

Tapped for about 5000 miles, untapped for about 3000miles,because of Catcher, don't want to stress the vp and i am quite happy running the Catcher without the special version. ( comp is still hooked up in EZ mode/turned off, just incase of problems and i have to change back to stock---still need a boost fooler with the larger sticks). I also run lots of additive(power service here too)-----PS---MUNDGYVER,how do you like those centramatics,do they work, worth the $$$,i am thinking about a set ,just want an honest opinion. THANKS---DW

The Centramatics are great :D My tires are wearing even and the ride is smooth. I have had them on now for around 40,000 and I am a believer. I just wish they made them for smaller cars :)

168,000 on original VP44, tapped at 28,000. I have one of the early failure prone VP44's too (June build 98). I've been running mine at a peak 70% duty cycle since 65,000 miles now (max out of the box duty cycle for TST's pm3 comp box is 65% - mine is custom at 70%).

Tapped at 42,339 miles, I currently have 140,324 miles, almost 100K tapped, original VP. I've been running Cenpeco fuel additive on and off.
