Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) HP and Torque of wire taping boxes on an HO

Looking to buy a pump taping competion box in the near future. I am looking at the Drag Comp and TST PM3 Competition. I have an HO and was wanting to know what HP and torque increases that you guys that have HO's were seeing out of these two boxes. I have hear the TST only adds 80 HP on the top setting. Thanks in advance.

dyno numbers

Got some info for you, first the notes.....



Truck was bone stock with 111,000 miles, put the edge juice w/ attitude box on, then made one run with the box off, then two runs with the box on 5x5. This is with a stock turbo, stock exhaust, and the defueling left ON on the box, i think I may have done better with the defueling turned off. The dyno operator was not happy with the second run, so he did the third. Needless to say I am happy with the results, and would have no problem recomending this box. And finally the numbers... .





Run 1 219. 76 HP 466. 43 TQ



Run 2 309. 56 HP 660. 51 TQ



Run 3 311. 55 HP 705. 38 TQ

Just to clarify, this was (obviously) done on the 02, which is a HO, and I have since added better turbo and 4" exhaust, but have not dyno'ed.

I do not have before numbers, so these numbers are only valid for after listed mods...



- Diesel Dynamics Stage 3 (EDM type) injectors

- stock HX40 turbo (meaning no mods to the turbo other than upgraded from HX35 to HX40)

- Edge EZ box on highest setting



These got me to ~380 HP and somewhere around 750 #'s of TQ



- Replaced EZ with Drag Comp



With Drag Comp on 5x5, I got 439 HP and 826 #'s TQ.
