You know you did beat me... i only made 596. 19 ft lbs. under your 615! you shoulda got out and kicked the tire. maybe you coulda got that 1 ft lb... ...

well i really don't care for the mustang dyno myself. Roger has one too, and within one week no changes to the truck i was 110HP lower on the mustung than the DynoJet over at MM '05. It was SOOOO funny, it was my wedding day, they had just opened their new dyno bay and i told them they needed to open the doors, because this truck smokes. They had no exhaust fans, doors were half closed. My brother went and told the head guy to please open the back doors to let the smoke go out. The head guy said they know about smoke, they work on BANKS trucks, ROF-LOL! They hooked me up, one quick wip of the throttle and those guy were rolling those doors up so fast all of them probably had blisters on their hands for a week.

:-laf :-laf :-laf ... . You warned them but they didnt listen. . Somepeople just dont understand that when you say it will smoke... it smokes...

OH YEA???? and how might i achive this goal??

Dude, what threads have you been reading on here? There is tons of info on how to make smoke as well as power. I am coming up there on Sunday this weekend, so if your around, give me 5 minutes with your truck/injection pump and I'll get you the smoke you desire. :D

what are you ganna do???? 5 minuts... take off an intercooler boot?

Take off the intercooler boot???????????? Dude, did you hit the crack pipe at lunch??

It depends on how much smoke you want, there are so many different adjustments to make on that pump it'll make your head spin. Put your thinking cap on and see ya Sunday afternoon. ;)

Joe

unless you bring a set of DVs or big injectors with you i think your going to find that things you want to adjust are MIA

BTW i havent had lunch yet!

You have to understand that Justin has gutted the top of the pump :--)

NO AFC housing and no plate!

Rick

he knows hes just not thinking right... ... and shhhhhhhhsh rick.

thats a secret!

Oh thats right. . I'm sorry it is a complete pump with the AFC housing in stock position and so is the stock cam plate...

Rick

If your AFC is gutted and your not running a plate(which I will again stress is not going to make more power than with a plate, maybe smoke but not power), then you should have more smoke then you know what to do with, especially from a dead stop with now pre-boost fueling control. You should even be hazing at all times with now AFC, unless your pump is a 160 or 175 pump, well it should be being an auto transmission. That truck you found, Justin is just plain weird. I am still gonna try and meet up with you on Sunday and check out your truck a little closer than @ HDDR.

Don't you mean "the previous owner" gutted the AFC and took out the plate. :-laf

No, i took out the plate but i showed Justin how to gut the AFC. Maybe if you pulled your plate you'd have enough power to brake out of the 17's, lol. 18 mm is great but when you pull the plate and move the plug forward on the pump and get 21mm of rack travel then you can really make some power. Or maybe you can just run a #10 in stock posision and hope and pray for the big numbers. Justins plate is out and it has 18mm of rack travel.

Interesting... . :D I had no idea what was actually done to his truck since I have only seen the outside of it.

Oh, and I did break out of the 17's on my second run that weekend(16. 9@64mph to be exact :-laf ), and the clutch even slipped on that run. A 16 flat is no problem on a good day, as long as the clutch holds, I'd say that is pretty good for an manual 8000lb truck with 37" tires. :D
