DTT on the way. I only got the billet input shaft and hub. Using stock intermediate and output shafts. How much hp/tq will it handle safely? I'm a pretty conservative driver. Won't be doing any boosted launches, drag racing, or pulling heavy.

You should be fine. The only reason that I threw in the intermediate is because Goerends told me that if I was gonna be hard on it that I would want that insurance. I've got friends who do 10psi 4wd launches with your same transmission set-up and haven't broken anything "yet", their pushing the 550hp mark.

I think you will be just fine. IF you go drag racing or anything, you may break the output shaft, which is not as bad as it sounds. The OD unit can be rebuilt separately from the rest of the transmission. You'll have to try and break that to do it. I would say 500-550 will be safe for you, more if most of your playing is rolling starts and such.

Dead on the money - you'll be fine on the input side for sure. Jason's dea on with the output though - a good launch will probably do away with the stock output.

We ran the OEM output to over 760 RWHP and drag raced doing 20#-30# launches in 4WD no problem. But yet I know guys that have broken the output shaft just pulling trailers or easy launches at the track, seems each case is different.

As mentioned above the output is an easy change and if one breaks normally everything inside the transmission is safe.

The exact reason I left mine stock. If I break something I would prefer it to be the output. We'll see how long it lasts :-laf

The intermediate is my only real concern. As stated the output doesn't require the total dismantaling of the transmission. Thanks for the "input" :-laf
