Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) HP number

I'm going to upgrade my transmission in the next few months to a DTT setup. I have an EZ right now and it is great. When I do the upgrade I was thinking about 275's or DD1's at the same time. My question is approx. RWHP with this set up. I don't need anythink to crazy because I need this truck to last probably 250-300K so I want to stay relatively mild compared to some.



Any input is appreciated.

275's will net you around 280HP, DD1's will be real close to 300.



Step up to the DD2's, smoke and EGT according to DD are nearly the same or a tad less than the 1's. I put 50K miles on a set of DD1's with a VA or an EZ and was really happy with them. I have a set of 3's now and am even happier with them .
