Joe you say that your truck is street-able... ... ... well with changes it might be. Mine has a turbo just as big or bigger that what you were running and mine is a "LIL" laggy to drive on the street unless there are several changes made. it takes a minimum of 3000 rpm to see any boost. :) These are mine. I will say 800 hp is not a problem?? Easily!!! ;)

The single Bell turbo (conceived and built by Pius) run on Sickly makes boost about as fast as an H2E with 17 housing, for comparison. If the engine is punched at 1250-1500, full boost comes on around 2000 rpm or so. Peak hp is about 3000. Because the turbo does spool pretty well (expecially for such a large turbo), it is quite drivable.

Funny how all the folks shooting at poor old Sickly can't do it with just one turbo. :D

Joe you know my brother J has one of them like you it did pretty good in tulare 1st in drags and a 2nd and 3rd in the pulls... ... . not bad at all.

This setup builds boost starting at 700 degrees of EGT and 1600, by 1800 and 10psi it's an instant to 80... ..... that is MY limit and shows no signs at all of going south... . air temp is way low, it cruises at 5 psi and 550 degrees... level ground gets 20 MPG and can drive Back to Canada at will.

775 HP yea right, dyno boost is 15 psi low from boost on the road.

JR, no intercooler how many ponies do you loose b/c of not using and intercooler?

NONE!!! :D

When horsepower is measured on a computer keyboard, you can have all you want. :D

So which of the talkers and strutters are going to the Mopars at the Strip event next month? Andy-Hammer thinks you should be there to demonstrate the power of the Cummins. For once, I agree with him. :) This is a non-TDR event, light those turbos and show what you got at a nationally-advertised event where magazine representatives will be watching and writing.

Can we put aside the east/west issues and dyno/pulls/drags who is most manly blah-blah, and show the magazines what diesels can do? Right now, they don't believe diesels can make any hp. If you don't come, don't blame anyone but yourself for the non-diesel and anti-diesel articles they write. If you come, you can show what runs and what just talks at the drags and on a dyno. That's the league you could be in, instead of just showing a dirty, cut-up, rusty engine compartment and making unsubstantiated claims. Time for unbiased substantiation Oo.

I'll be lucky to have mine cleaned up by Muncie.

I'm not really into the magazine thing, I may say something abrasive.

If they want to see and write about power, they need to come to Thunder in Muncie, where the most powerful Dodge Cummins on the planet roam.

Gene..... Are you still there??? Skeered are ya??!! Try coming to more than one of my pulls a year. I built it not bought it. How many wins did you have your first full year??:)

"When horsepower is measured on a computer keyboard, you can have all you want. "

Are you referring to the dyno's key board?? So you do manipulate the dyno!! I don't have a thing to prove to some one who puts false HP numbers in his signature.

Most powerful cummins... ... ... ... thats not me. There is a black dually that wears that crown.

I had 4 wins my first full year. One was Muncie.

If I would have never touched the truck after the engine was built, I would have been last a lot.

Enterprise built me a good long block, and clutch, I made that truck pull, with a lot LESS power than most of the guys I pulled against.

JR, I don't have time to go to those brush pulls you hide at.

So you did make it past 75 feet before the end of the season?

Not that I have to explain myself to you... ... ... ...

I had a couple seconds, thirds and one forth. I had twelve hooks. Five on the twin set up.

Brush pulls?? What do you call PA. ??

I seen the video of Jessup. I like that single charger truck sparking that clutch 200+ feet.

Im outta here... ... ... ... .

There must be hundreds of high horsepower Rams out there. Hope some of them read this and help us show the magazines where the real power is. Didn't Don say something about coyotes, or was it hyenas? Get off the porch, guys, and show you can do it somewhere other than your local, favorite place. Wouldn't want someone saying you manipulated the dyno keyboard, the slider on the sled, or the e. t. lights, would you? :D

Sickly makes only 800 on the dyno, 1800 on the keyboard. Oo.

Sorry Joe I'm not a big power guy, never was, never will be. I will still blow the doors off any single chargered 600+hp 5. 9 towing whatever they want up whatever hill!!

Didn't think one simple question could stir up so much

It all out of Love for Joe D... ... ... . dyno is fine but a run from 50 MPH would be fun also;)
