Whew Watch out for that Inkohol Ossifer

Horse shoes ... best drinking game invented?

I bought an HP Scanner and ended up taking it back, after having trouble with the software and writing to HP tech support for some help. They told me to check stuff that I told them I already checked, so of coarse they were no help.

I ordered a Epson form Staples, with a $30 off coupon. Hopefully I can make that one to work.

I have an HP, it has been OK, but when I went to XP it has never worked right, even with the software patch that I bought from them. HP won't get any more money from me either. Tech support is a joke in 99 out of 100 companies.

i have an epson perfection 1250, and the amount that i use it, i am happy with it. i do however wish it had a power on/off switch on it [i just plug it in when i need it]. if you leave the power cord in it all the time, the light is on all the time [or most of the time. ] the software that comes with it isn't the greatest, but if you use coral or jasc or others... it works well.

Laughter?

Every time we have to call our tech support at work, I think they put us on speaker phone for entertainment! I swear we heard laughter from the other end!:D

HP

I bought an HP CDRW once. It worked, but after much tinkering. Their tech support seemed complacent at best.

Then there's the fact that HP is notoriously anti-gun.

They don't get my business anymore. Too many good products on the market.

My experience with HP was with a scanner I bought new and couldnt get to scan at all. When I called tech support I was told I had to pay for help. Scanner went back and thats the last HP product I will ever buy. The Epson 1660 photo scanner has been great.

we bought an HP scanner, the girl at the store said it was really easy for older people to use "my mom is like 32 and she uses it all the time. " well I'm 38 and took it back the next day.

we then bought some cheapo brand that was much easier to work and did a better job.
