HPC ceramic coating.

I found a website www.hpcoatings.com

The colored spray on ceramic coating will make the "hotstuff" (exhaust manifold, turbo housing & downpipe) run much cooler, drastically lower under-hood temps, and look *****in'.

Seems like it would also help to keep the intake temps down if the intake manifold was done.



Anyone have any dealings with this or a comparable company?

Seems like lowering the underhood temps would be a good thing.

Especially at 115 degrees ambient, on a long 7% up-hill grade, with a 14K 5th wheel on the back... ... ...

Anyway, I had my ATS 3 piece manifold done in 2000* Satin Black inside and out, including the bolts by these guys. Good people to work with, and they do a great job.

Truthfully, I rate this as more of a cosmetic bomb. It looks good after ~ 40k. My turbo cool down time actually takes a little longer due to heat retention. If you do an ATS manifold be sure they don't coat the fitment parts or you'll have a hell of a time getting them together.
