HT3B compressor housing. MWE slot?

does your HT3B have a MWE slot in the compressor housing?



I've got one that does and one that doesn't... same exact hunk of aluminum otherwise.



I'm using the slotted one... lookin' for that 18 wheeler sound when it spools up. I'm just wondering why they wouldn't cut the slot when the housing was clearly designed to utilize it...

Hey Forest I believe the one with the slot is a BHT3B and the one without is an HT3B. The B stands for bleed air I think.
