Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) ht60 vs 3b

What are the differences between an ht60 and a 3b? I have seen several ht60's on ebay for different hp ratings. Is there an easy way to tell what they are by the cummins part number? Are there different exhaust housings available for the 60's?

The HT60 is basically the newer version of the 3B. It'll spool faster and flow more air than the 3b as well as be more efficient to a slightly higher boost level. I can email you the maps if you like.

The maps would be great. How do I tell the difference between the numbers. For example if they claim its for a 500 hp N14, how does that effect my 5. 9-verses a 60 off a 425 hp N14. What are the differences, as in are they just exhaust housing changes, or are there intake housing and wheel choices too?
