Which Turbo Setup Should I Run?

how about on an QC/SB 2wd auto w/ 3. 54's? the truck lives at 300ft, but goes to over 10k ft every summer. will probably NEVER have a trailer behind it.
 
had the htb2 62/12 and ended up going to play with the big boys with a sled puller 66/14 i can still get the pyro up to 1900 (pre turbo) but it sure is fun :-laf
 
the 64/12 combo is more than streetable, and you wouldnt have a issue at all spooling the 66/14.

the problem is the 12 does not flow enough on the top end, once i hit the upper part of my #100plate, it burys the pryo instantly, at all other rpms, egts are fine, and im seeing 50psi at wot. the 14 will have better top end, with verry little loss of spool up.

well, we'll see how it goes... I ordered a SPS66/14 earlier! :eek:



Dave @ Goerend's is gonna build me a converter for it, so hopefully it won't be too bad getting it spooled w/ the 3. 54's... should run alright once it's lit! ;)
 
My SP66/14 is on the way. . I go to Daves for a transmission on Monday. . and Lennys (Dynomite diesel) Stage 4 injectors will also be going in!
 
Where can you buy the HTB2 Sled Puller 66/14? Also I was looking at the Super Phat Shaft 62 from Industrial Injection. Is the Sled Puller a lot more turbo or just a little more than the Super Phat Shaft 62? Are the Sled Pullers a direct bolt up or is there fabrication involved? Will Marine 370 injectors be enough for this turbo or what injector would make a good combo? Also how much is the SP 66/14 and is there a website that sells them? Sorry for all the dumb questions, I am new to all the aftermarket turbos. Thanks.

i like my 64/14 but i think my BHAF isnt flowing enought air. these injectors make a little more power than the 370s i had but the run way smoother.
 
Well it's not a HTB anything, I would go with a Super Phat Shaft 66, but that's just me... My Super 62 is F(^%ing awesome!
