Did it yesterday. Still don't have a real opinion of it. The little I've driven the truck I can't really notice a difference. The lag is way slower. Still can't run the TST on 9/9. Even more black smoke then before. Here's the good things. TST on 9/8 or 8/8 hauls azz. Having the torque up that high is probably causing the smoke cloud. (Not good in CA). Temps seem to be a little cooler. On the top end they are down 200º or so. In the middle they're about the same as stock. Turbo whine is about the same loudness. But crisper. The truck finally feels like everything is working on the same page. With the AirDog, TST, and tubo. Just feels and sounds better. Smooth acceleration. It will pin you in your seat. It does break the tires loose shifting in to 2nd. (with an auto). I haven't towed with it. It does bark a LOT easier. So far I'm 70/30 on liking it. Didn't take that long to put in. About 4 hours. Would have done it in 3 but I second guessed myself and re took it out after installing it. I went with the HTB2 62/12 (clipped so it acts like a 62/13). I'll know more with the more I drive it.
One thing that friggen drove me nuts was the lack of quality in the down tube. My 90 year old grandma could weld better then that. It was nice having it to use, but what a pile. They need to take a serious look at getting that done right. Have it mandrel bent and made out of stainless steel. They are awesome people of there to talk to. Call them and they're super helpful. But I'd personally be embarresed to mail out that down tube, let alone charge $100 for it.
