Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) HTB2 or HTBG

I have an 01' DDII's, Edge Comp, AFE and DTT transmission. I seem to be right on the line for the cut off as to what they recommend between the two turbos. I don't plan on going with bigger injectors so I am on the fence between the two turbos. Paul first recommended the HTBG but then said the HTB2 would be good as well. Anyone with any experience with these two??

If you plan on going with bigger injectors eventually then definately get the bigger of the two versions.



Don't skimp out on a turbo if there is the SLIGHTEST chance it won't hold up to your eventual plans. I did that and it cost me some $$$, but I didn't lose much however I gained a valueable lesson.

i got the htbg and i love it has some lag but works fine for what ive got
