Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) htb2 verses hx40 verses others

Ok I want to upgrade the turbo. I want/need something that will be awesome now as a single and possibly work in a twin set up. I tow, not heavy, but that is something to factor in. My truck is a 2000 with DTT auto and 4x4.



Looking for thoughts as to what direction to consider and why.

I have been doing alot of reading on the twin setups and for something good to 550hp and also good for towing the hx35/ht3b or the hx40/ht3b seems to be the preffered turbos. Don't quote me as I am not an expert by any means, just going by what I have read.
