i like the turbo whistle on the htt turbos i made 520 hp 1006 ft on stock turbo. i think i will gain 60 hp at least with new turbo HTT 71 62/13 golden nuget after a few runs.

the 62 compressor isn't the loudest thing on earth, but it sounds good... doesn't turn into a rush/hush in the 30+ range like an HX35 or HX40.

I swear, the loudest 'little' turbo on earth is the 6 blade 60mm HX40 in the 15-20psi range?!?!? OUCH!!!! :)

BUT the thing I'm most addicted to on these S300 variants is that 71mm turbine wheel!! it flat out SINGS out the tailpipe!!!!

I recently tried a SS housing on my Killer B2 and it actually raised my egts 150 degrees across the board. I ended up sending my whole turbo in and had it converted to a Quick Diesel 71 series and now things are 150 degrees colder and the surge is all but gone.

That was my experience as well. Spooled up a bit quicker than the 16ss, but ran about 150 deg hotter as soon as I came to a hill or pushed on the pedal past cruise. I went back to a . 8 cast iron. Mine is a 64/71/. 8(secondary). It was a pretty housing though.

I'm running the HTT HT71 Series Quick Diesel 64 and it spools great and keeps things nice and cool and man going from a 62 to a 64 wasn't expecting much, but man my top end is so much better!!!
