HubCap

ANyone know where to get hubcaps for a 5th wheeltrailer? I need one for the center of the wheel. It is about81/2"dia. ,5-6"deep and on the inside says Mold #QT865-M,Made in Tiawan.

Hub cap ?

most RV centers will have them in stock or used one for sale . But most long time RV folks don't us the caps as the covers will hide the true heat of the bearing and brake , during the walk around at rest or fuel stops most feel the hub and inspect the cap and some like me hit the rubber with a hinge handle . I agree with Ron Bissett concerning hubcaps on trailers. People at the roadside rests must think I'm a nut when they see Me going around My 5vr feeling the hubs. This is one way one can find a potential hot bearing or a brake dragging. Hub caps look nice, but do keep some air from cooling Your wheels at the bearings and drum areas. Many premature bearing failures have been found this way. Just My experience here.

three of the four center caps fell off the first one hundred miles on the road. makes me hesitant to buy new ones.
