OH NO Thunder in Muncie is the SAME DATE and I will be going to Muncie

The Buck has free camping in the back parking lot.

Sounds like fun

Sorry :(

Cliff

Count me out

Bad weekend Randy,,I'll be following my hero Mr. MPH(Oasis-3)to Muncie,,What would be the chance of rescheduling meet to another weekend,,It would provide a better chance for more trucks to show, and not have the Buck meet conflict with Muncie,,Better chance of seeing some of the heavy hitters,,Just a thought.....

Road Trip He He

Mason Dixon TDR road trip in June, I'm in. Sorry I cheesed out on everyone for the Mass Dec. 15th run  Work had me down. Anyway, sounds like fun!

groundpounder,

I'd be all about a road trip to PA but I, like the others, will be spending that weekend in Muncie. Perhaps you could change the date?

Caravan going to Muncie

Goundpounder,

Don't get discouraged just find a better weekend. Vendors can't do both events, same time and they seemed to be happy at Muncie last year. Why the conflicting date?

groundpounder, I'd like to see an event at the Buck, but not on that weekend. We're all going to Muncie, Indiana for Thunder in Muncie on the weekend in question. Vendors and dieselheads coming from all over the U. S. and Canada, Muncie is as big and fun as it gets.

Yeah you gotta change it! Change it! change it! I want to go to both. I missed Muncie last year cause I wrecked my truck and I gotta go this year.

More info.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys I have no control over the date all I do know is the owner wants us Dodge Boys to appear. The only date he has is the 8th. Also as a added update the diesel semi's will be there as well doing what they do best!!!

Man this is a tough one. Went to Muncie and already had plans to go back. Will have to wait and see how vacation scheduling turns out as PA. can be a day trip, Muncie can't.

Groundpounder, Count me in. I have been wanting to go to a truck pull and this looks to be the one. I sent an e-mail to you as well.

The Buck will probably have a quality event that day, but Muncie is a 2 day deal, and will certainly have 7 or 8 times the trucks that will be at the Buck, if last year's Muncie event is any indication .

Many improvements and additions to the Thunder in Muncie program are already in the works, so we are all excited about how great it's going to be!

I do find it irritating, as quite a few others do, that the Buck would host a competing event on the same date. How much nicer it would be, if their management was truly in touch with the TDR membership, and hosted an event on a non-conflicting date! The we'd have a Big Three in the Great Lakes region; Muncie, Scheid, and the Buck.....

Yes, I understand that's the only date they have open, due to other pulls, etc. That's not my point.

I'd rather haul my truck to California for the Tulare event, or Nevada for May Madness,(and I will !) than drive a few hours to an event in Pennsylvania being hosted by a promoter that is not one of us, and has no intentions of working with us.

Harsh words towards The Buck promoter, probably undeserved. It's just that I know they have quality events, so I would have liked to have gone. Too many commitments to Muncie, though.

Still, it would be nice if the promoters and diesel shop owners/hosts of all these events did check the events forums on as many diesel sites as they could, and coordinated dates of events whenever possible. That way, we 'd have more multi-brand events to go to, and much more participation. Some conflicting dates will be inevitable, though.

If you know a promoter, encourage him/her to use the internet to his/her advantage, or offer to help them do so !

HARSH WORDS

Hey look guys, if you want to sling the attitudes do it somewhere else. This event has been happening every year at the same time for years. THIS IS NOT NEW!!! I have been to several and this guy would like to see a point sanctioned pull for our class trucks. Nothing more. I don't think you will get the same offer elsewhere. Anyone who has attended the events at the Buck knows its all about DIESEL's in some form or fashion. Not interested, don't go but the Buck Show is on for this year as it has been for the last several years and will be on next year and the year after that and so on. No big deal!! I was asked to post about the event and so I did. If anyone has any questions please email me!! -- email address removed --
