Do hummer wheels and tires rub ? What is the load rating of these wheels and tires ? I have 3:73 gears how will this effect the speedo? I'm thinking of buying a set I need to know the pros and cons of these wheels and tires. Thanks Rhino50:)

Bighammer do you have plans to put on fender flares? What is the load rating of the hummer wheels? Do the center caps still have hummer on them? Do you think you can some how remove the hummer name off of the centers? sorry for all ? I just really like the look of those wheels. Thanks Rhino50

Flares are ordered. (EGR) Not sure of the weight rating. They look pretty solid though. Caps in front still say HUMMER (I was thinking of making it say BUMMER) and the rears just have ER on them. I picked up a set of 03 center caps that are painted instead of chrome. I'll turn those on the lathe to make them fit.

I thought the Hummer used the same American Axles as the Dodge so would have been a direct fit?? They look nice on your truck. The cast Dodge wheels aren't that bad but the hub cap ruined the look IMO.

BTW I see you disabled your "key in" chime. Did you do it at the key tumbler and do you have the factory centry alarm with the chip in the key?

I clipped a wire at the base of the steering column. Yes I have the chip key.

Maybe I should have a non-chipped key cut so I can test it. Looking inside the steering column, there is something closer to the actual chip in the key. (it's like a proximity switch sort of forward of the tumblers -- Different wires) The wire I clipped is for physically sensing the key in the ignition.

Bighammer Do you have a leveling kit on you ram pick up? Do you think you need it with the hummer wheels and tires ? thanks Rhino50 :)

No level kit on mine. So far I haven't needed it. I would like to see what a truck with a lift looks like up close before I get one. (to try to get an idea of how much more :-{} I will hear from the passenger side)

The overhead indicates a drop of about 1. 5mpg (about 16. 5 from about 18) but I haven't figured the difference in size yet. The dealer wanted $70 for recallibration so I left.

I have the 6 speed and 3. 73 gears.

Thanks for all the help Bighammer. I called my local hummer dealer and he has a set of wheels and tires for me. Thanks again Rhino50:D
